The beginning of Mr Rental
It all began in 1983, when founders Glen and Kerrianne Hickman started renting out TVs and VCRs (remember those?) from their video store in Brisbane. In no time entertainment rentals were outstripping videos, so sensing they were on to something, Glen and Kerrianne went ahead and opened their first Mr Rental in 1991.
In 2001 they introduced a franchising model with the vision of becoming 'the world's first choice in home appliance renting', by providing their customers with truly great service, flexible rental options, easy ways to pay, speedy delivery and free installation.
